Little Jewels in the Necklace
It’s the daily stuff that makes a life. Each little thing a marker of time going by. If you take time, you can enjoy them. It’s all the kisses added up. All the plates of toast and jam. The mundane things hold significant small places in your life that add up.
And then there are the objects. They might outlive me. They mark my time and then the next life’s. Maybe they will mark my children’s lives, be little parts of the whole.
